This landscape is inspired by Holland but entirely a creation of my fantasy.
Modelling was done in 3ds Max, and I added some details in ZBrush.
The ivy climbing up the wall has been created with the help of IVY Generator.
For the texturing I adapted in PhotoShop a series of textures I have gathered throughout Italy, correcting and drawing by hand where this was necessary.
For the background I created a matte painting using a picture I made of the sky and added a balloon I found in Internet.
Final rendering was done in Mental Ray.
I dedicate this work to my father who died just two weeks ago and to my fantastic Dutch girlfriend Daniela who made me fall in love not only with her but also with her country and who has inspired me for this work.
